Before Starting
Your printer must be connected to a local network that has Internet access.
Firmware Update Procedure
To update the firmware for your printer, follow the steps below.

With the printer powered on, select Various settings from the HOME screen, then press the OK button.

Printer settings is selected. Press the OK button.

Select Firmware update, then press the OK button.

Install update will be selected. Press the OK button.
The printer will check for an updated firmware version.
If your printer has the latest firmware version installed, the printer will display a notification on the LCD indicating that an update is not required. Press the OK button. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.

If a firmware update is available, select Yes and press the OK button.

Read the message on the LCD, then press the OK button.
The printer will turn off and the update process will begin. This may take several minutes. Do not turn off or unplug the power cord during the firmware update process.

After the update has been installed, the printer will power back on. Press the OK button when Update successful. is displayed.
The firmware update process is complete.
If your printer is connected wirelessly to your network and the firmware update fails, make sure that the signal strength for the printer is 80% or greater. You can do this by printing a network configuration page (PRO-200 / PRO-300). If the signal strength is low, move the printer and router closer together, or disable devices that may be interfering with the printer's wireless connection.
