This article shows how to delete or change characters entered on the Mk2600.

Solution

Deleting or changing characters

There are two methods for deleting characters: one uses the [Back Space] key, and the other uses the [Del] key.

ex. Change "-27V" to "+24V"

  1. Move the cursor to the 2 to the right of the "-".

  • Press Left arrow or Right arrow to move the cursor.

Move the cursor to the 2 to the right of the -

  1. Press [Back Space] to delete the "-".

  • The [Back Space] key deletes the character that is located to the left of the cursor.

The minus sign has been deleted

  1. Press [+].

The plus sign has been entered

  1. Move the cursor to the 7.

  • Press Left arrow or Right arrow to move the cursor.

Cursor moved to 7

  1. Press the [Del] key to delete the 7.

  • The [Del] key deletes the character at the cursor.

The 7 is deleted

  1. Press 4.

4 has been entered
