Deleting or Changing Characters - Mk1500

Description

This article shows how to delete or change characters entered on the Mk1500. This includes deleting all entered text data.

Solution

Deleting or changing characters

ex. Change "-1750V" to "-1720V"

  1. Move the cursor to the 0.

  • Press Left arrow or Right arrow to move the cursor.

  1. Press [Back Space] to delete the "5".

  • The [Back Space] key deletes the character that is located to the left of the cursor.

The minus sign has been deleted

  1. Press [2].

A "2" has been entered

 

Deleting all entered text data

Follow the steps below to delete all characters entered on all pages.

  1. Press [Delete].

  • The Delete display appears.

 Even when all characters have been deleted, settings such as [Format] and [Style] are retained.

If two or more pages have been entered, the settings on the last page are retained.

  1. Press [Enter].

  • All characters on all pages are deleted.
