Learn how to adjust the display contrast of the Mk1500.

Solution

Changing the display contrast

The display can be difficult to see, depending on the ambient brightness and the viewing angle. If the display is difficult to see, adjust the display contrast. The display can be set to any of nine levels.

ex. Because the display is faint, increase the display contrast two steps.

 The intensity of the back light is not adjustable.

  1. Press [Option].

  • The setting display appears.

  1. Press Left arrow and Right arrow to select 1:Adjustment, then press  Adjustment mode [Enter].

  • The Adjustments display appears.

Density adjustment display

  1. Press Left arrow and Right arrow to select 5:Display contrast, then press [Enter].

  • The Display contrast display appears.

Display contrast display

  1. Press Right arrow twice.

The display contrast has been lowered

  1. Press [Enter].

  • The display returns to the character entry screen.
