This article explains how to restore the settings of the Mk1500 to their initial values.

Solution

Restoring the initial settings

To restore all settings to their initial values, follow the steps below.

  1. Hold down [Delete] while turning the power switch on.

  • The initialization confirmation display appears.

  1. Press Left arrow or Right arrow to select Yes, then press [Enter].

  • After the screen shown to the right appears, the display returns to the character entry screen.

Resetting

 The saved files will be erased when initialized.

The settings are returned to the factory settings when initialized. Note that all current data and saved files will be erased.
