Prevent paper abrasion
The printer can increase the gap between the print head and the paper during high-density printing to prevent paper abrasion.
To set the prevent paper abrasion options for the printer, follow these steps.
- With the printer powered on, press the setup
button.
- Press the right arrow
until Device settings is displayed. Press the OK button.
- From the Device settings menu, the Print settings menu should be displayed. Press the OK button.
- In the Print settings menu, Prevent abrasion should be displayed. Press the OK button.
- Use the left
and right arrows to choose between ON and OFF.
- Press the OK button to confirm the setting.
- Press the Stop
button to return to the home screen.
The
Prevent abrasion setting will now be set to the option chosen.
