Learn how to disable IPv6 on the PIXMA G4200 / G4210.

Solution

To disable IPv6 on the PIXMA G4200 / G4210, follow these steps.

  1. With the printer powered on, press the Setup  button.

  2. Press the Right arrow button until Device settings appears. Then, press the OK button.

  3. Press the Right arrow button until LAN settings appears. Then, press the OK button.

  4. Press the Right arrow button until Common settings appears. Then, press the OK button.

  5. Press the Right arrow button until TCP/IP settings appears. Then, press the OK button.

  6. Press the Right arrow button until IPv6 appears. Then, press the OK button.

  7. A message will scroll across the screen. Press the OK button.

  8. Enable/disable IPv6 will be displayed. Press the OK button.

  9. Press the Right arrow button to select Inactive. Press the OK button.

IPv6 will be disabled.

 To enable IPv6, follow the steps above, but for step 9, use the Left arrow button to select Active, then press the OK button.
