ICC profile missing after macOS update

Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

Solution

1. The ICC profile information can be re-registered by registering the printer in the print queue again. To do that:
  •  Open "System Preferences" and select "Printers & Scanners".
  • Specify the printer whose profile is not being displayed and press the [-] button to delete the printer.
  • Once the printer has been deleted, press the [+] to register the printer again.

2. If the above step does not resolve your issue, you need to copy the Profile to another folder. To do that:
  • Select [Finder > Go > Go to Finder], enter "/Library/Colorsync/Profiles" in the folder location, and select "Go".
  • Copy ICC profiles of the printer to the folder listed above
    1. /Library/Printers/Canon/BJPrinter/Resources/ICCProfiles/CN_IJPrinter_Profile2015.icc
    2. If custom media has been added using the Media Configuration Tool:
       Profile is in "/Library/Printers/Canon/BJPrinter/Resources/ICCProfiles/<Model name>_seriesX"
    3. If no custom media had been added using the Media Configuration Tool:
      Profile is in "Library/Printers/Canon/BJPrinter/Resources/ICCProfiles/<Model name>.canonicc/Contents/Resources"
