The PIXMA MG3620 can be set up for use via Wi-Fi using the MP Drivers available on the Canon USA website. To use the MP Drivers to set up your printer use via Wi-Fi, follow the steps below.

Click Download to the right of the MG3600 series MP Drivers.

Save the file to your computer, then open it. If prompted to provide permission, click Allow or the appropriate affirmative option.

Click Next.

Select your place of residence, then click Next.

Read through the License Agreement. Click Yes to proceed. If you click No, the installation will not proceed.
The MP Drivers will be installed. This may take several minutes.

On the Connection Method screen, select Use the printer with Wi-Fi connection and click Next.
The computer will search for the printer on the network.

If your printer is already on the network, make sure that it is selected, then click Next.
If your printer is not detected, make sure that the computer has reconnected to the correct network. Also, you may need to temporarily disable any firewall software, or you may need to open blocked ports in the firewall. If your PC is connected to a VPN (Virtual Private Network), temporarily disconnect from the VPN and try the setup again.

If your printer has not been set up for wireless use, the Check Printer Settings window will appear. Place a check in the box for Set up the network connection via USB and select Next.

Connect the computer and printer with a USB cable.
After a few moments, the computer will communicate with the printer via USB. If the following window appears, confirm that your wireless router is displayed, then select Yes:
If this window does not appear, or if you select No, you will need to select your wireless router from the displayed list. Type your network password into the Network Key: box, then select Connect.
The computer will send the network information to the printer via the USB cable. The drivers will be installed. The computer will then attempt to locate the printer on the network.
If your printer is not detected, make sure that the computer has reconnected to the correct network. Also, you may need to temporarily disable any firewall software, or you may need to open blocked ports in the firewall. If your PC is connected to a VPN (Virtual Private Network), temporarily disconnect from the VPN and try the setup again.

When prompted, disconnect the USB cable, then select Next.

Select Complete to finish the setup program.

You may be prompted to restart your computer.Click OK to restart, or Cancel if you don't want to restart.
