Description

This article provides information on the components found on the MAXIFY GX5020 when viewing it from the front.

Solution

Front View

View from the front of the printer. To the rear of the printer are the paper support (A) and the rear tray cover (B). Inside the rear tray cover are the rear tray (C) and the paper guides (D). At the base of the printer is the cassette (F). Inside the cassette are the paper guides (E). Above the cassette is the paper output tray (G). On the front left of the printer is the operation panel (H).

A: Paper Support

Extend to load paper in the rear tray.

B: Rear Tray Cover

Open to load paper in the rear tray.

C: Rear Tray

Load paper or envelopes here. Two or more sheets of the same size and type of paper can be loaded at the same time, and fed automatically one sheet at a time.

D: Paper Guides

Align with both sides of the paper stack.

E: Paper Guides

Align with right/left/front sides of the paper stack.

F: Cassette

Load A4, B5, A5, or Letter-sized plain paper into the cassette, and insert it into the printer.

G: Paper Output Tray

Printed paper is ejected. Pull out it before printing.

H: Operation Panel

Use to change the settings of the printer or to operate it.
