This article provides information on where to locate the serial number of the PIXMA G4210.

Solution

Follow these steps to display the serial number on the printer's screen.*

  1. Make sure that printer is powered on.

  2. Press the Setup  button. The Setup menu is displayed.

  3. Select System information and then press the OK button.

  4. Select Serial number and then press the OK button. The Serial number is displayed.

*Alternatively, the serial number can be found on a white sticker on the back of the machine towards the lower right side. "Serial Number" is printed on the top line, with a barcode below that and the serial number below the barcode. The serial number consists of 4 alpha characters followed by 5 digits, for example, ABCD12345
