Pair a Mobile Device with the Printer - IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer

Description

This article provides information on pairing an iOS or Android device with the IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer.

Solution

To pair your mobile device with the IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer, follow the steps below.

 Make sure you download Canon Mini Print for your device (iOS / Android).

  1. Turn on the printer by pressing the Power  button until the status LED light turns on.

    Open the settings of your mobile device to enable Bluetooth and pair it with the printer.

  2. Open Canon Mini Print and tap on the icon at the top right corner. Choose your printer. The icon will change to indicate the battery level after your mobile device and printer have connected.

  3. The printer will automatically reconnect to the app if it has already been paired. If the printer has not been connected to the app, tap on the icon at the top right corner and choose your printer in the list.

    Follow these steps to add the printer if it has not been added already

 The printer status icon at the upper right will differ depending on if the printer is connected or not.

About Pairing

  • One printer can be paired with only one iOS / Android device.

  • One iOS / Android device can be connected to multiple printers.
    To pair an additional printer and tap on the icon at the top right. Press  to choose the printer.

  • Search for an pair a printer named Canon (xx.xx) Mini Printer.
    Match the last 4 digits of the MAC address (xx.xx) on the label inside the printer.

  • Bluetooth searching and transferring may fail depending on the environment.
    Check the Bluetooth setting on your mobile device and try again.

    Match the MAC address shown on the mobile device with the MAC address shown inside the printer as shown
