Learn how to use AirPrint to print from your Macintosh computer to your wireless printer.

Solution

Before you begin

Your printer must be connected to a wireless network.
 

Steps

  1. On your Mac, select the Apple menu, then System Settings.

  2. Select Printers & Scanners. You may need to scroll down the left side of the window to see this.

  3. Select Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax... below the printer list to open the Add window.

    Select Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax... (outlined in red)

  4. Select the Bonjour listing for your printer. If you have a multifunction printer, select the Bonjour Multifunction listing.

  5. In the Name: field, rename the printer if you wish, then click Add.

The printer is now added to the printer list.
