My EOS Rebel T7 will not connect to my computer via USB.

Check the following if your EOS Rebel T7 will not connect to your computer via USB.


  • If your computer recognizes that your camera has been connected via USB (i.e. if it makes a sound when the camera is connected) but you are unable to connect to it and download your images, please check that WiFi isn't enabled. Please see this link for the procedure to enable and disable WiFi on your camera.
  • If the computer does not respond at all when the camera is connected, please try another USB port and/or USB cable.
