To disable the wireless LAN (Local Area Network) adapter in the PIXMA MX472 / MX479 / MX532, follow the steps below.

With the printer powered on, press the Setup 
button.

Press the right arrow button until Device settings appears. Press the OK button.

Press the right arrow button until LAN settings appears. Press the OK button.

WLAN activ./inactiv. will appear. Press the OK button.

Use the left and right arrow buttons to select WLAN inactive. Press the OK button.
The wireless LAN adapter in the printer will be disabled.
To enable the wireless LAN adapter, select Wireless LAN active in step 5.
