Description

This article shows how to start a wireless connection of your MAXIFY GX3020 printer to a wireless network using the WPS push button method.

Solution

You can set up your printer to work wirelessly via the WPS push button method. This setup requires you to press a WPS button on your router. To connect the printer to the router using this method, follow the steps below.

  1. On the HOME screen, use the Up arrow Down arrow buttons to select Settings, then press the OK button.

  2. LAN settings is selected. Press the OK button.

  3. Wi-Fi will be selected. Press the OK button.

  4. Select Wi-Fi setup, then press the OK button.

  5. Select WPS (Push button method), then press the OK button.

  6. Press the OK button.

  7. When this screen appears, press and hold the WPS button on your router for 5 seconds, then press the OK button.

    The printer will attempt to connect to the network.

  8. After the printer has connected, press the  OK button.

After the printer has been connected to the wireless router, it is ready for use across your network.

If you plan to use the printer with a computer but have not installed any drivers or software, click the appropriate link to obtain the installation package for your printer.
