Description

Image processing after the shot can lead to the access lamp being illuminated longer.

Solution

Settings like the Digital Lens Optimizer, especially when set to higher settings, can cause the the access lamp to be illuminated longer. The camera is processing images and writing them to the card during this time. Turning these settings to a lower setting, or turning them off, can increase how quickly images can be written to the memory card.
