Learn how to manually connect the PIXMA G3270 to a wireless network by entering the network information via its operation panel.

Solution

You can connect your printer to a wireless network by manually entering your network password. Follow the steps below to manually connect the printer to the network.

  1. With the printer powered on and displaying the HOME screen, use the Up or Down button to select Settings and press the OK button.

  2. Select LAN settings and press the OK button.

  3. Select Wi-Fi and press the OK button.

  4. Select Wi-Fi setup and press the OK button.

  5. Select Manual connect and press the OK button.

    The wireless router name appears.

  6. Select your wireless router and press the OK button.

  7. If the following screen is displayed, press the OK button.

    If this screen is not displayed, proceed to the next step.

  8. Enter the password. Text entry is case-sensitive.

     If you don't know the password for your wireless router, see the wireless router manual or contact its manufacturer.

  9. After the password has been entered, select OK on the on-screen keyboard, then press the OK button on the printer.

  10. When the following screen appears, press the OK button.

     If the printer fails to connect, make sure you have entered the correct password. If you don't know the password for your network, refer to the manual that came with your wireless router or contact its manufacturer.
