Setting the Long Document Mode on my R40 Scanner (macOS)

Description

The length of documents that can be scanned with the R40 scanner is normally 356 mm (14"), but you can scan documents up to 3,000 mm ((118") long by setting the scanner to the Long Document mode.

Follow the steps below to enable Long Document Mode on the scanner.

Solution

  1. Start/launch CaptureOnTouch and click on the [Edit] icon (pencil) on one of the document types under "1 Select Document".


     
  2. In the window that pops up, make sure that a check mark is in place for "Use advance settings dialog box" and click on the [Settings] button.


     
  3. Click the [Information] button (small blue circle with explanation point).


     
  4. Click on the [Maintenance...] button.


     
  5. Select the Long document mode that fits your scanning needs.
