Learn how to adjust the Skew Detection Accuracy setting on the imagePROGRAF TC-20 / TC-20M.

Solution

If roll paper is not properly feeding into the imagePROGRAF TC-20 / TC-20M, or if you are experiencing errors such as 1024 (roll paper is empty) with a roll loaded in the printer, try adjusting the Skew detection accuracy setting on the printer.

Follow the steps below to adjust this setting.

  1. With the printer powered on, tap Setup  on the HOME screen.

  2. Tap Printer settings .

  3. Tap Paper-related settings.

  4. Scroll down and tap Advanced paper settings.

  5. Tap on the desired media type. In this example, Plain paper will be selected.

  6. Standard is selected by default. Select StandardLoose, or OFF.

  7. Press the HOME button on the operation panel.
