Description

This article shows what to do if you're experiencing uneven colors or shifted lines when printing with the imagePROGRAF TC-20 / TC-20M.

Solution

If you are experiencing uneven colors or shifted lines when printing, enabling Unidirectional Printing may resolve the problem. Follow the steps below to enable this setting.

 Print speed will be decreased with this setting enabled.
 

Windows

  1. Open the printer driver setup window.

  2. In the Main tab, select Specify....

  3. Place a check in the box for Unidirectional Printing.

  4. Select OK.

  5. Select Apply, then select OK.

  6. Proceed with printing.
     

macOS®

  1. Open the Print dialog (typically, this is done by selecting Print... from the File menu).

  2. Select Advanced Paper Settings from the pop-up menu.

  3. Place a check in the box for Unidirectional Printing.

  4. Change any other settings as needed.

  5. Select Print to begin printing.
