Locate the Serial Number

The serial number of the PIXMA MG8220 is located inside the printer, as shown below.

1. With the printer powered on, open the Paper Output tray.
   
   
   
   
2. Lift the Scanning Unit (Printer Cover) until it locks into place.
   
   
   
   
3. Locate the serial number inside the printer.
   The serial number is attached to the metal plate to the right of the print head holder.
   It starts with four letters and ends with five numbers. Example: ABCD01234
