What Is ScanGear (Scanner Driver)?
ScanGear (scanner driver) is software required for scanning documents, photos or film (dependent on the model). It enables you to specify the output size and make image corrections when scanning.
ScanGear can be started from MP Navigator EX or from other applications that are compatible with a standard interface called TWAIN. (ScanGear is a TWAIN-compatible driver.)
In addition to the TWAIN driver, Canon may also provide a WIA driver for Windows 7 / Windows Vista; or, an ICA driver for Mac OS X 10.7.x / Mac OS X 10.6.x.
