Answer

If you get a "User Intervention Required' message when you try to print, you can restart the print spooler to resolve the issue.

Follow these steps to restart the print spooler:

  1. Press and hold the Windows key Windows icon and press R. This opens a Run box.

  2. In the Run box, type services.msc, then select OK.

    Shown in run box: services.msc

  3. In the Services window, scroll down to Print Spooler. Right-click on it, then select Restart.

Print Spooler selected, with pop-up window shown, where Restart is selected.

  4. After the print spooler restarts, close the Services window and try to print again.

  5. If this doesn't resolve the issue, turn the printer OFF, wait a few minutes, then turn it back ON. Retry the print task.
