For other models:
-
Make sure your printer is powered on. You may need to reconfigure the Auto Power ON setting in your printer so that it automatically powers on when you send a print job to the printer.
-
On your iOS / iPadOS device, tap Settings from the Home screen.
-
Tap Wi-Fi.
-
Make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled. Then, make sure that there is a check mark next to the name of your wireless network. If your device is not connected to your network, tap on the name of your network to connect. Enter your network password if prompted.
-
Print a Network Configuration Page for your printer to confirm that the printer is connected to the correct wireless network. If the printer is not connected to the correct network, use Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY to reconnect the printer to the network.
-
Try to print. If your printer is detected, select your options as needed.
If your printer isn't found, you may need to power cycle your printer and wireless network. Try to print again.
If power cycling does not help:
-
Move the printer and wireless router closer together if they're far apart.
-
Temporarily disable any other devices that may be interfering with Wi-Fi communication between the printer and wireless router.
