Your MAXIFY MB5020 can be connected to a computer with a USB cord while connected to a network. The computer that is connected to the printer via USB will print and scan via that connection.
Other computers on your network, as well as smartphones and tablets, will be able to print and scan with this printer.
Please note that you can use your printer via USB + Wi-Fi or USB + ethernet, but you can't use the printer via Wi-Fi + ethernet.
