How to use CaptureOnTouch Lite on macOS 11 (Big Sur)

Answer

In order for CaptureOnTouch Lite to work on macOS 11, you need to set grant access permissions for the launcher and the application. Please follow these steps:
 
  1. A message box for CaptureOnTouch Lite Launcher, as shown below, is displayed. Click [OK].
    Click [OK} to give permission for CaptureOnTouch Lite Launcher to run.

    NOTE: In case you click [Don't allow] an error message will pop up and the Launcher will not run.
    If you click [Don't allow], you will see this error message.

    To enable the CaptureOnTouch Lite Launcher to run, please check [Removable Volumes] of CaptureOnTouch Lite Launcher on [Files and Folders] in the following path: [System Preferences] > [Security & Privacy].
    Check these paths.
     
  2. Set access permission to CaptureOnTouch Lite.
    A message box to CaptureOnTouch Lite, as shown below, is displayed. Click [OK].
    Click [OK] to enable the CaptureOnTouch Lite application to run.

    NOTE: If you click on [Don't allow], CaptureOnTouch Lite runs but CaptureOnTouch Lite cannot scan documents since it is unable to load the driver.
    If you select [Don't allow], you will see this error message.

    To enable CaptureOnTouch Lite scan, please check [Removable Volumes] of CaptureOnTouch Lite on [Files and Folders] in the following path: [System Preferences] > [Security & Privacy]
