This article explains how to print out the network setting information (LAN details) for the PIXMA MP990.  An example of this information is attached to the bottom of this article.
Solution

Note: The steps listed below are specific to the MP990.  For instructions for other models, click here

You can print out the network settings of the machine such as its IP address and SSID.

Important
  • This print out contains valuable information about your computer. Handle it with care.

    1. Make sure that the machine is turned on.

    2. Load a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper in the Cassette.

    3. Select Settings on the HOME screen, then press the OK button.

    4. Select Device settings, then press the OK button.

    5. Select LAN settings, then press the OK button.

    6. Select Confirm LAN settings, then press the OK button.

    7. Select Print LAN details, then press the OK button.

    8. Select Yes, then press the OK button.

      The following information on the machine's network setting is printed out.
