If you can't see the paper at the paper in the output tray, you'll need to remove the paper from the transport unit (which turns the paper over as it is fed into the printer). Here's how to do that:
Turn off the machine and unplug it.
Your print jobs in the queue will be canceled. You'll need to reprint after you remove the jam.
When you stand the machine, confirm that the document cover is closed.
Stand the machine on a wide, flat surface such as a desk.
When you stand the machine, hold it securely and be careful not to hit it on a hard object.
If the protective material for the transport unit remains, remove it.
Push the open lever to open the transport unit.
When you open the unit, support the machine with your hand so it doesn't fall.
Pull the paper out slowly, being careful not to let the machine fall.
Close the transport unit, then immediately return the printer to the normal position.
Plug the machine back in and turn it on.
Reload the paper and restart your print job.
