Using the Shortcut Keys
Place a document on the machine, and tap <Scan -> PC1> or <Scan -> PC2>, and scanning starts immediately. The type of scan ( color or black and white), the save destination for the document, and other settings can be registered to a button, and documents can be scanned using those settings. This section describes how to register settings in a button and scan with it.

Printing is too light/dark from a Windows computer - MF240 series - MF260 series

If the Message <No Paper> Appears
Received documents can be printed on A4 or Letter size paper. Load A4 or Letter size paper and set its size. Also, set the paper type to <Plain (16 lb Bond-23 lb Bond)>, <Plain L (16 lb Bond-23 lb Bond)>, <Recycled (16 lb Bond-23 lb Bond)>, or < Color (16 lb Bond-23 lb Bond)> depending on the loaded paper.

Scanning Documents and Saving Them in a Computer (USB & Network Connection)
The sequence of "scanning a document and saving it to a computer" can be done entirely from the machine. Scan while specifying what computer documents will be saved to; whether to scan documents in color or black and white; whether to save documents as PDFs or JPEGs; and other settings.
