EF70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM The EF70-300mm f / 4.5 - 5.6 DO IS USM telephoto zoom lens follows the EF 400mm f /4 DO IS USM released in 2001 as the second model in Canon's EF lens lineup to incorporate a DO (Diffractive Optical element) lens.
Exterior design improvements on the Series II Model includes a high-grade platinum ring mounted in front of the zoom ring for easier operation, and a leather tone texture coating on the body for a luxurious feel. Also environmentally-friendly, lead-free glass is used in the construction of the EF-S 55-250 mm f / 4-5 .6 IS II.
