Audio cannot be transmitted from a Viewer if you use the Viewer on a computer running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Before applying a service pack or updating the operating system, please refer to Canon’s compatibility information. Running Windows Update may cause system operation to become unstable and cause the system to restart.
PosterArtist 2009 updater is available. update to PosterArtist 2008 (the file is available for download from the Canon website) before running this application.
To download video via the 4 pin DV/HDV (IEEE-1394) terminal no additional drivers are needed as the drivers are built into OS 10.1 and up. Video editing may be performed by using a variety of 3rd party programs that are available from various software vendors including Apple iMovie. To download Mac OS 10.1 and up compatible application updates please visit the and select your model. From your models page select the Drivers/Software tab which will detail the available software applications that may be available for your product using the operating systems supported by Canon.
