Specifications for the EF 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 II USM The optical system consists of only ecologically sound lead-free glass lenses for the first time in the world. The lead-free glass was developed by Canon in corporation with a glass manufacturer. A replica aspherical lens (2nd) and a molded plastic (PMo) aspherical lens element (9th) are used to make the optical system compact.
