In Windows 8, there are two easy ways to transfer your images from the computer to a memeory card or USB flash drive: Copy and Paste Plug the your USB flash drive into an available USB port or insert your memory card into an available slot or memory card reader.
The SD card has a lock switch to prevent existing data from being erased. To record images or movies this switch must be in the normal (non lock) position. Different brands of SD memory cards may identify this switch differently.

If the FS10 or FS11's (FS100 card only) memory card or memory becomes full the camcorder will not respond when the Start/Stop button is pressed. Delete some recordings to free up space or initialize (format) the memory card/ memory to erase all recordings on the camcorder.
