Location of the serial number ZR500 and ZR600/700 The serial number of this product can be found at the battery attachment point of the camcorder. Remove the battery from the camcorder to display the number.
Setting the Time Zone, Date and Time Set the time zone, date and time when you first start using your camcorder, or when you have replaced the backup battery .
Using a Household Power Source Connect to a household power source to use the camcorder without worrying about the battery power. You can keep the battery pack attached; the battery power will not be consumed.
List of messages that appear on ZR400 ZR500 and ZR600/700 This message appears each time you turn the power on until you set the time zone, date and time. CHANGE THE BATTERY PACK Battery pack is exhausted. Replace or charge the battery pack.
