Separately, 4K / UHD RAW recording at 12 -bits up to 60 fps, or 10 -bits up to 120 progressive fps , in a compact dockable recorde r thrusts the C700 to an outstandingly high level of image capture. In addition , a future firmware update to the camcorder will support record ing 4.5K RAW at 10 -bit up to 100 fps. Apple ProRes can also be recorded in this dockable recorder.

Canon XF Plugin 64 for Avid Media Access (compatible only with files recorded with XF-AVC intra-frame compression except for interlaced video) has been released. Canon XF Plugin for Final Cut Pro X will be released after the Apple Final Cut Pro X update compatible with EOS C300 Mark II.
