Connect the camera to your computer with the dedicated USB cable so that they can communicate. You can connect the camera while your computer is running. Open the CF card slot cover. Disconnect the dedicated USB cable or remove the battery. Disconnect the DC coupler (optional) or unplug the AC adapter (optional) or power cord.
If your e-mail software does not start in step 7, select the [Save to Folder] option in the [After Finishing the Task] part of step 6 to save them, and then attach the images to your message using your e-mail software.
