Solution If the [Memory card locked] message appears when you attempt to capture or play back images with the camera, please refer to the procedures below to unlock the memory card (hereafter referred to as ' card ').

CAUTION When the card is formatted, all images and data in the card will be erased. Even protected images will be erased, so make sure there is nothing you need to keep. If necessary, transfer the images and data to a computer, etc., before formatting the card.
