Insufficient space on card There is not enough free space on the memory card to shoot or edit images. Either erase unneeded images or insert a memory card with enough free space. Change the battery pack.
In Windows 8, there are two easy ways to transfer your images from the computer to a memeory card or USB flash drive: Copy and Paste Plug the your USB flash drive into an available USB port or insert your memory card into an available slot or memory card reader.
Solution The SD memory card, SDHC memory card, SDXC memory card or Eye-Fi cards have a write-protect tab. If the <Write Protect Tab> is in the locked position, the following screen appears.
About memory card classes The UHS Speed Class was introduced in 2009 by the SD Association and is designed for SDHC and SDXC memory cards. UHS uses a new communication method which allows much higher transfer speeds when used in compatible devices. If you use a UHS memory card in a non-UHS device the card will only operate at the devices standard bus speed.
1. Using a Card Reader or a Card Slot on a Computer to Download Images Use a card reader to save images or movies on a memory card to a computer without using Canon software or a USB cable.
The [Memory card error ] message appears. The speed at which images are written to or read from the memory card, or the continuous shooting speed has been reduced. Movie shooting stops partway.
To transfer the images, please use a commercially available USB card reader. To print, please insert the memory card directly into the printer card slot.
