If the printer doesn't respond to a print command or is off-line, the printer driver port may not be correctly configured. For example, if your printer is connected via USB but the port is configured to send print commands wirelessly, you would not be able to print. The steps below may help resolve the issue.
CMS-XML Suggestions for tracking number of copies.
Even though this unit does not have a copy counter, here are several suggestions that might prove useful in trying to keep track of the number of copies made (yield) on the copier. Keep track of the number of paper reams you used. If you place 4 reams of paper at the copier, and all 4 reams are used up, then you have made approximate 2,000 copies (each ream is 500 sheets, i.e. 500 X 4 = 2000).

Devices such as a computer modem, answering machine not connected to the fax or similar answering device may automatically pick up the call. Resend a test fax to your machine to make sure it answers. If your answering machine is not connected to the fax machine, the fax will not be able to detect the transmit signals emitted from the sending machine. Connect the answering machine to the fax as indicated, marked by a blue arrow in the magnified view.
