Check with the other party and send the document to a G3 fax machine . If the other party does not have a G3 fax machine, try sending the document using a transmission mode the other party's fax machine supports.
Sending Settings Tab Specifies the recipient name and fax number of the destination to which you send a fax . You can specify multiple destinations in one operation.
This will occur if there are multiple lines and telephone jacks in the same location. Or if the telephone jack is wired for two lines. For example, line one is to be used for voice calls and line two is to receive faxes. Disconnect the fax machine from the telephone wall jack. Connect a known functioning single-line telephone directly to the telephone wall jack.
