Devices such as a computer modem, answering machine not connected to the fax or similar answering device may automatically pick up the call. Resend a test fax to your machine to make sure it answers. If your answering machine is not connected to the fax machine, the fax will not be able to detect the transmit signals emitted from the sending machine. Connect the answering machine to the fax as indicated, marked by a blue arrow in the magnified view.
Item Settings Specifies the vertical and horizontal position where the logo is printed. You can enter the values in the [ X ] and [Y] edit boxes (in a range between -50 and 50), or use the X and Y slide bars to move the position. [Move to Center]
Check with the other party and send the document to a G3 fax machine . If the other party does not have a G3 fax machine, try sending the document using a transmission mode the other party's fax machine supports.
