ERROR: 0x80070725 - Incompatible version of the RPC stub - Setup will now terminate
|
The error 'Incompatible version of the RPC stub' is caused by an incompatible version of a DLL that was installed on the system, such as Oleaut32.dll, Olepro32.dll, Asycfilt.dll, Stdole2.tlb. For example, version 3.50 of Oleaut32.dll is installed and used only by Windows XP and so causes this error if it is installed on a machine running any other operating system. Ignore the error message : "A required .DLL file, C:\windows\system\oleaut32.dll, was not found." This error message appears because the file was renamed in step 4.

It may be necessary to reset the Printing System. Uninstall then the drivers if error messages occur or if the device does not operate correctly.

In the environment that AMD USB Audio Driver Filter is installed in Windows Vista (pre-installed in some commercially available PCs), the printing function is not enabled. Some customer may experience that the Push-scan function is not enabled. Please see below for assistance. Important: When trying to perform printing, the message "Collecting printer status." is displayed in the Status Monitor, then the error message "Print data cannot be sent because of the current printer status" follows.

Is Easy-WebPrint compatible with my version of Internet Explorer?
|
Easy-WebPrint is unavailable with Internet Explorer 7.0. Internet Explorer 7.0 includes many of the same printer functions as Easy-WebPrint. Therefore, Easy-WebPrint cannot be installed on a computer with Internet Explorer 7.0 installed. Also, after upgrading IE6.0 to IE7.0 on a PC with the latest Easy-WebPrint installed, Easy-WebPrint will not be available and an error message dialog will be displayed upon starting IE7.0 .

Restrictions on sharing the printer on a Windows network
|
There are some restrictions on sharing the printer in a network environment.If your computers don't seem to share the printer properly, confirm the following. In order not to display the message on the print server, open 'Server Properties' from the 'File' menu of the 'Printers and Faxes' window (Windows XP) or the 'Printers' windows (Windows 2000), set 'Notify when remote documents are printed' off on the 'Advanced' tab, then restart your computer. If an error occurs when you print from the client, an error message will be displayed on the client and the print server.

Scan in Simple Mode using MP150 / MP170 / MP450 driver (Windows)

You can scan an image from a TWAIN or WIA-compliant application and use the image in that application. The procedure to follow varies depending on the application. The following is only one example. For a detailed procedure, refer to the documentation for the application you are using. An error message is displayed when you input a value out of the settings range. Input a value within the range displayed.
