Connecting the Printer to the Network - Pro9000 Mark II / Pro9500 Mark II

In Windows XP or Windows 2000, open Server Properties from the File menu of the Printer and Faxes window (Windows XP) or the Printers window (Windows 2000) on the print server system, uncheck Notify when remote documents are printed on the Advanced tab, and then restart the computer. - The bi-directional communication function is disabled so that the correct printer status may not be recognized.

Restrictions on sharing the printer on a Windows network
|
There are some restrictions on sharing the printer in a network environment.If your computers don't seem to share the printer properly, confirm the following. In case that the printer is shared in the network, a message may appear to inform that printing is complete. In order not to display the message on the print server, open 'Server Properties' from the 'File' menu of the 'Printers and Faxes ' window (Windows XP) or the 'Printers' windows (Windows 2000), set 'Notify when remote documents are printed' off on the ' Advanced ' tab, then restart your computer.
