Error code B200 (or related errors B201 / B202 / B203 / B204 / B205 / B206 / B207) generally means that print head communication has failed and that your printer will require service or replacement.
The definition of the terms Error Code and Support Code are similar, and are therefore interchangeable. Both refer to errors communicated on your printer and/or computer.
In the environment that AMD USB Audio Driver Filter is installed in Windows Vista (pre-installed in some commercially available PCs), the printing function is not enabled. Some customer may experience that the Push-scan function is not enabled. Please see below for assistance. In case an error occurred when a document is printed by the client system to a shared printer, the error message of Canon IJ Status Monitor will be displayed on the client system and the print server system. For regular printing, Canon IJ Status Monitor will be displayed only on the client system.
Verify the ink tanks are installed properly and that there is sufficient ink. An error message may appear while printing. Confirm the message and take an appropriate action.
If the Alarm lamp (orange) ( E ) flashes, press the RESUME/CANCEL button ( E ) on the printer to clear the error , then click Next. After the installation is complete, perform Print Head Alignment by referring to [ ] .
