2 . On the Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT , use the Mode button to set the flash mode to <M>. (Note: You do not need to do this on receiver units. Their LCD panels will continue to display “E-TTL”, but will change to “M” upon the first shot or press of the sender unit’s test button.)
