Special exceptions for Mac Users

  • If you use a Mac®  and have certain PIXMA TS, TR or CanoScan models, drivers aren't available because they use AirPrint technology for printing / scanning.

  •  Mac users will need to double-click the .PKG file which appears after double-clicking the downloaded file.

Troubleshooting Tips
  1. If installing drivers on a Windows PC, make sure that any older drivers for your product have been removed first.

  2. If you aren't seeing a driver for your product, make sure you are selecting the correct operating system.

  3. If installation fails, run the installer as an administrator (Windows), or ensure that you are using a user account with proper privileges (macOS).

  4. If you are using your product via USB and your computer is not detecting it, try another USB port directly on your computer. Make sure the product is powered on. If using your product on a network, make sure that that any installed security software is not blocking ports that your product uses.
