To be able to use the printer wirelessly on a Windows computer, the printer must first be connected to the wireless network. Then, drivers and applications need installed on the computer. The instructions / screenshots below show the setup program steps when using the Easy wireless connect method to connect to the wireless network.
The setup process consists of 2 parts:
Starting Easy Wireless Connect on the printer, and
Downloading and running the setup file to install the drivers and software.
Start Easy wireless connect on the printer
Prior to starting setup on the computer, start Easy wireless connect on the printer. Then complete the setup on the computer. See the procedure below to start the Easy wireless connect.

button (A) to select LAN settings and press the OK button.
Select Wi-Fi and press the OK button.
Select Settings and press the OK button.
Select Wi-Fi setup and press the OK button.
Select Easy wireless connect and press the OK button.
Press the OK button.
Once connection preparation is complete, the following screen appears on the printer.
The installer will check for the latest drivers and software. This may take a few minutes based on the speed of your internet connection.
Read the license agreement. Select Yes to continue. If you click No, the installation will not continue.
Select Agree or Do not agree to the information request.
If you selected Do not agree, the following message will appear. Click OK to continue.
Select Yes to connect the printer to your wireless router.
The computer will temporarily disconnect from your wireless network.
Connection is completed, click Next.
If your printer is not detected, you may need to either temporarily disable any firewall software, or you may need to configure that software to open blocked ports that the printer uses. Also, if you are using a dual-band router, further troubleshooting information can be found here.
The printer driver will be downloaded and installed. This may take several minutes depending on the speeds of your internet connection and your PC.
After processing for a few moments, you will see a message indicating that you can now print from your computer. Click Next.
If you wish to download and install any additional software, click Continue online.
