The PIXMA G4270 can be placed into Easy Wireless Connect mode. This allows you to use a computer or mobile device to send network information to the printer so that it can connect to your wireless network.
With the printer powered on, press and hold the button below the wireless connect 
symbol on the operation panel until the following appears on the screen.
The printer is ready to receive the information it needs to connect to your wireless network.
Click your operating system for instructions on sending your wireless network information to the printer.
