Clearing Jams In The Paper Output Tray Gently pull any jammed paper out of the paper output tray. If you cannot see any jammed paper in the paper output tray, remove it from the machine' s interior.

Disconnect other device and reboot computer
|
Other devices attached to the computer can block proper communication. Check to see if there are any devices (other than USB keyboards or mice) connected to the computer. Disconnect the device( s ) and restart the computer. Once the computer has restarted, attempt your process again.

Remove foreign object from paper feed area (MP390 / MP370 / MP360)

If [CLEAR PAPER JAM] is displayed, follow this procedure to remove paper or obstructions from the interior. Press <Open> to open the paper output tray (if not open already). Gently pull any jammed paper out of the paper output tray. If you cannot see any jammed paper in the paper output tray, remove it from the machine' s interior.

Scanning from an application MP360/370/390

You can scan an image from a TWAIN or WIA-compliant application and use the image in that application. Click 'Scan'. When scanning is completed, the scanned image will appear in the application' s display area.

The Disk Cleanup tool helps free up space on the computer's hard disk by searching for files that can be safely deleted. Some or all files can be deleted. Use Disk Cleanup to perform any of the following tasks to free up space on the computer's hard disk. In the Components list, click to clear the check box next to the component( s ) that you want to remove. * A shaded check box next to a component indicates that only some of its subcomponents are installed.

Save scanned image to 'Put pictures in a subfolder using today's date': You can either directly save an image in the specified folder or create a folder inside the specified folder with today? s date (e.g. 04/04/2003) and select to save in this folder.
